Our name comes from two European countries with rich bicycling heritage and culture: Veloce is Italian for “quick”, and Velo is French for “bike”.  Like the European bike shops that inspire us, we strive to form a community based around a love of cycling.

We focus on relationships, not just transactions

For five years we have built our reputation on word of mouth from happy customers.

We treat all of our customers the same way, whether you are coming in to have us custom build an ultra-luxury racing machine or you are looking for a comfortable entry-level bike to ride in your retirement.  Our mechanics receive the latest training and certification on all major components, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t also work on wheelchairs and wheelbarrows when our customers bring those in the door.

We stand behind our products

We select our product offerings based on real-world experiences.  We don’t rely on magazine reviews to tell us what is hot.  We are an independent bicycle dealer and there are no large vendors telling us what to sell.  This ensures that we are giving you honest opinions on what we’re recommending for your specific needs.

We support local businesses, and prioritize our purchasing with vendors closest to where we live.  We also prefer vendors that offer the best warranties and guarantees.

We offer real value

The most expensive bike is one that sits in your garage and is never ridden.  A close second is the one that doesn’t inspire you to ride longer or further.

That jersey that was purchased online but doesn’t quite fit in the shoulders?  What about that part that the web site promised would work with your bike but never quite fit?  Our customers don’t have those problems.

Our prices are competitive with local dealers and many internet sites.  You won’t pay more to shop with us – in fact, you will probably pay less in the long run.
