R Series (Classic Road)
You may have noticed that a lot of bike manufacturers have two classes of road bikes, one for regular riders and one for racers. Cervelo asks, “why?” and answers with the R Series.
Cervelo actually has three web pages detailing all the technologies they put into their bikes, but it’s easy to get lost in all of the reasons why these bikes ride better. We like to just send people out on a ride and let their bodies feel the difference. If you can’t decide what your next bike will be and are tired of test riding everything on the market, you need to feel the wonderful balance of the Cervelo R Series and just start enjoying your riding – they are the perfect cure for analysis paralysis.

S Series (Aero Road)
While a lot of the usual suspects are hopping on the bandwagon of aerodynamic frames, Cervelo is comfortably in their fifth generation and are still leaps and bounds ahead of their closest competitor in this category. We have ridden some of the newer attempts at aero frames and comments like “it turns like an ocean liner” and “as stiff as a 2×4″ started to surface. Cervelo realized long ago that adding aerodynamics to a frame doesn’t have to mean adding stiffness everywhere, else the ride quality suffers.
If you’re looking for an aero bike that really can be used as your one and only bike year-round, you need to ride the Cervelo S Series.
