Look gave the entry level a complete redesign with this bicycle. From the “sprung” top tube and flattened rear stays to the oversized bottom bracket, this is far from the standard designs found in this price range and its French heritage really comes through in both the looks and the ride quality. This bike is an introduction to the luxury touring category, and has been tuned for rider comfort rather than intense sprints and hard cornering.

586SL
This is the classic Look racing bike design using the current generation’s materials and technologies. It’s a very light frame at 940g (without the seatmast cut), and it gives you a very quick and nimble feel on the road. The SL designation indicates an integrated seatpost that uses Look’s clever E-Post technology, letting you adjust the height and dampening characteristics in between rides.

675
Brand new for 2013 is the radical design of the 675. This bike is all about high performance with a mind for comfort and luxury, and we think that it is at the top of its class. The integrated headtube/stem was pioneered years ago on Look’s high end mountain bikes and not only provides a striking visual at the front of this frame, but it gives it a beautifully stable ride where the front end tracks. If you want the road equivalent of a carving ski where you can lean your bike into a turn and know that it’s going to give you just an amazing feeling all the way through, the 675 is for you.

The newest ultra-performance development from Nevers is a stunning example of how a small, highly experienced design team can move the whole industry forward. Externally, the unique stem/headset system and the Look-built crankset just hint at how this bike is different from its competitors, but you’ll only notice what’s gone on internally when you step over one and see how dramatically Look has evolved their road feel.
A new option for 2013 is the SR (Super Rigid) carbon layup, which adds 15% more stiffness to the frame. There is no upcharge for this, but we caution our customers that this is really only for the most powerful riders.
A full listing of paint schemes (including flags and Mondrian) is available on the Look 695 Premium Page. Please note that there is a $500 upcharge for custom paint on a 695 frameset.
