The Green Marathon - On the green track to environmentally conscious mobility

At a time when the importance of environmental and social sustainability is constantly increasing, we place particular emphasis on the use of environmentally friendly components for our bikes.
From 2024, the Green Marathon tyre from Schwalbe will be used in our production of e-bikes and bicycles as a standard tyre on our city and trekking bikes. With this, we are setting an example for sustainable and environmentally friendly development in the bicycle industry. This is great news for cyclists who not only focus on quality and performance, but also on the future of our environment. With Schwalbe's intentions to offer the Green Marathon in a wider variety of tyre sizes, we will also be able to equip more models of our bikes with the Green Marathon as standard in the future.
The Green Marathon tyre is characterised by its special environmental friendliness without compromising on durability or quality. It consists of 70 % recycled and renewable materials, including carbon black from recycled bicycle tyres. With a pollutant-free rating of 98%, it sets the standard in environmentally conscious cycling and reduces CO2 emissions during production by up to 34%. The Fair Rubber seal certification also guarantees fair production practices. Suitable for bicycles and e-bikes, the Green Marathon is a milestone in sustainable tyre development.
